0008 — String Lights Across a Blue Sky

There is a town in southern New Jersey, across a river from Philadelphia. The river is narrow enough, at points, to stretch four bridges and a train from one side to the other. At night, the train lights float above the river. The train stops in the town, just off its small, main avenue. And that avenue is narrow enough to stretch a thick, black cord of string lights from one side to the other. At night, the lights float above the town.
